Player Pitch - Mickeys, Teds, & Majors

Bellevue West Little League has three divisions of player pitch - Mickeys, Teds, and Majors.
Mickeys is for players age 9-10, Teds, for players age 10-11, and Majors, for players age 11 & 12.
Note: You are registering your player for the 2009 Bellevue West Little League season. You will be assigned a tryout time based on the player's age. Tryout information will be on your receipt.
Tryouts will be on Saturday January 24th . This year tryouts will be held in the gym at Bellevue Community College. Tryouts are in doors. Wear sneakers but no black soles please.
Players will demonstrate their abilities in 4 important skill areas (batting, infielding, outfielding, and pitching). Players will be graded by experienced coaches and their scores will be used to assist coaches when they draft their teams.
Players are assigned to teams within a division based on their skill level. If you do not want your child drafted to a higher level, or do not want your child drafted on to the team of a specific coach, please contact the Player Agent, Carolyn Janisch, by January 20th. Send an Email to bellevuewest@gmail.com or call Carolyn at 425-653-5583. Example: If your child is league age 11 and you do not want them to be assigned to a Majors team you must notify the player agent.
BWLL Winter Training Program
It's time to start thinking about the 2009 Bellevue West Little League season! To help get players ready BWLL is proud to announce our 5th annual BWLL Winter Training program at Stod's. Again this year, we will have staff instructors from Stod's and a curriculum that covers many facets of the game including hitting, throwing, fielding and more. What's more, the program is sponsored by BWLL so there's no cost to participate!
The 12 session winter training program runs from December through February (details below). As in past years, no advance sign up is required but your child must be a registered BWLL player for the 2009 season to participate. You can join in any of the sessions. However, since there will be a sequence to the program this year, your player will get the most benefit by attending as many sessions as possible.
Players must bring a glove and wear tennis shoes - no cleats. They are recommended to bring a bat, wear baseball attire (hat, pants, and shirt), and bring water. They should show up 15 minutes prior to the start time for warm-ups.
