Bellevue West Little League serves players who live within the following boundaries:
- South of State Route 520
- North of I-90
- West of Kelsey Creek
- West to Lake Washington
Bellevue West includes the communities of Enatai, Clyde Hill, Medina, Yarrow Point, and Hunts Point. This includes children who's local elementary schools are: Enatai, Clyde Hill, Medina, and Woodridge.
There are 2 exceptions:
Moving out of Bellevue West boundries:
A player may qualify to continue to play in Bellevue West if:
a) A player previously lived within the league boundries and played in Bellevue West; may qualify to continue to play in Bellevue West under Regulation II(d)
or
b) A parent lived within Bellevue West boundries and coached in Bellevue West for a least 2 years prior to moving. The coaches children may be eligible to continue to play in Bellevue West under Regulation IV(h).
If you feel you qualify under either of these regulations; contact Carolyn Janisch - Player Agent, bellevuewest@gmail.com.
Waiver procedure:
A player may live outside league boundaries and participate only by waiver.
Waiver procedure:
The player's home league must release the player (example: a player lives in Kirkland - home league is Kirkland American) and Bellevue West must accept the player.
The waiver must be approved by the District 9 Administrator (Bellevue West is part of Washington Little League District 9). If approved by the District Administrator, the waiver must be approved by the Western Region Little League in California.
If the waiver is approved it is only for the current season and the player is not eligible for All Star Team selection.
Waivers are not granted in general. The exception is for a player attending school and participating in other sports within Bellevue West's League boundaries. For example, a player lives in Renton but attends Sacred Heart, St. Thomas, or Bellevue Christian school and plays basketball through the Bellevue Boys and Girls Club.
